My first involvement with GSD’s was in 1965 when I used to help a neighbour who had a kennel & bred them, sometimes getting to go to shows. From then on I always wanted a GSD of my own, but my parents being farmers preferred Collies & farm dogs for the cattle. In 1980 I purchased my first GSD (Liaka) a long coat bitch who died of cancer at 18mths, I then purchased a short coat GSD (Leonie) who unfortunately had to be re-homed when my marriage broke up. In 1986 with Peter we purchased a long coat female GSD (Simba) followed by a glamorous coated Black & Silver female GSD (Misty). In 1989 we registered our affix Jaquenetta & Misty went on to become our first brood bitch, Misty whose lines went back to Marko vom Cellerland was mated to a Renygar male we had two males one we kept the other went & joined the Police & had many adventures which we heard about every Christmas. By the early 1990’s we had lost these two females so decided to look for a show / breeding female, we purchased an Atlas von Bad-Boll daughter & a Natz vom Hirschel daughter but in our opinion neither had a good enough hip score to breed from so we decided in 1993 to import our first GSD, Renja vom Reeshoop a daughter of the vice sieger & double Italian sieger Jack vom Trienzbachtal we have kept the lines & are breeding with her Great Granddaughter, we have shown several of her children & grandchildren. One of her sons Jaquenetta Jinnistan was listed in the hip score scheme, he sired over 200 puppies with an average score of 17.3 as of August 2000. A Grand-daughter of his Vonderoak Roma went on to become a champion. In 2000 I started to go to the Sieger show in Germany, in 2004 we decided to look at importing another female to bring in fresh lines, but as it turned out in 2005 we purchased 2 females in partnership with Dennis & Wayne Vessey, this would give both of us two fresh lines to breed from so we registered another affix Zumander & in came Pepsi vom Grauen SchH1 Kkl 1 a Larus vom Batu daughter & Hilla von Modithor SchH1 Kkl 1 a Quirin vom Hochmoor daughter.
