      We have survived the Glastonbury Festival for another year. The perimeter fence is about 50yds from our boundary. This security fence has watchtowers along it at intervals with spotlights. Several expletive deleted persons decided they would cut the electricity supply to the Festival, so they could scale the fence unseen. They cut through the wrong power cable plunging the village of Pilton into darkness, while the Festival lights burned on brightly.

      While at the Festival there was a stall selling signs one read, WIFE AND DOG MISSING, REWARD FOR DOG. Another stall selling T-shirts for those of us who go to the Sieger Show without the other half saying, CURRENTLY UNSUPERVISED. And for all of us late night imbibers at the Show saying, THE MORE I DRINK THE BETTER YOU LOOK.
